Take a breath…
The whispers have started. I’ve seen the comments.
I’ve heard the questions:
“Can I really write a book that gets published?”
“Do I have what it takes to finish?”
“Is it even possible for me?”
And it’s time to clear the air before these rumors spin completely out of control. How long did it take me to write my Amazon best-selling new release: The Movement, Nutrition and Sleep Blueprint?

Here’s the truth:
Yes, you can write a nonfiction book. Yes, you can publish it.
But no, it doesn’t happen overnight.
Over the last few years, I’ve been guiding people through the process of writing memoirs, self-help books, business books, and how-to guides. And I’ve seen what works… and what absolutely doesn’t.
And let me tell you: the process is not as mysterious as people make it out to be.
Here’s the real timeline, stripped of hype:
- Research + Outline: 1–3 months. I have spent years, but that is my choice.
- Drafting: 2–6 months.
- Editing and Formatting: 2–4 months.
👉 Total: about 6–12 months from idea to a finished, polished book.
Of course, the rumors are right about one thing: it depends.
- Write 2,000 words a day? You’ll move fast. Write 300? Slower, but steady.
- Stick to a daily routine? You’ll fly. Only write on weekends? Expect a longer ride.
- Writing a personal memoir? Quicker. Digging into heavy research? That clock stretches.
- Editing lightly? Done in weeks. Editing deeply with professionals? Months.
That’s the real secret no one tells you: the difference isn’t talent… it’s persistence, consistency, and process.
Now, I’m not going to spill all the beans today.
But here’s what I will say: I’m putting together something that’s going to walk you through this step by step. A roadmap, a coaching-style framework, designed specifically for nonfiction authors who want to see their name in print without wasting years spinning their wheels.
And just like writing a book itself, this will not be fluff. It will be structured. Practical. Action-driven.
For now, here’s what I want you to remember:
- Writing a book is possible for you.
- You don’t need 5 years — you need focus.
- The process has been done thousands of times before. You just need the right guide.
That’s all I’ll say for today.

P.S. Think about this: six months from now, you could be staring at your finished manuscript. Or still just talking about “someday.” The choice is yours.
